TCA PEELS
The TCA peels are available in strengths 10% 25% and 35% with a PH level of 0.7-0.9. The solution will be applied until a smooth application is achieved. The face may be uncomfortable initially and mild swelling may occur. TCA peels are an intermediate to deep peel for the corrections of skin flaws and to rejuvenate the skin. Your trained RGN is an Independent Prescriber and will decide on the strength and layers of each peel
Skin will achieve optimal rejuvenation and colur restoration in the following 1-3 weeks. For optimal results, TCA peels should be performed in a series of 6-8 treatments 4-6 weeks apart. However some clients may only require a single treatment of TCA to achieve desired results. In some cases clients may require a touch up or a second peel. Price per peel £60
GLYCOLIC PEELS
The standard backbone of peel services, penetrating the deeper layers of the skin and increasing the rate of dead skin cell shedding and new skin cell production.
The Glycolic acid peel is available in 30% 50% and 70% strengths with a PH level of 1.1-1,8. It is the universal peel suited to most skin types. Glycolic Peels work by removing the outer layers of thickened or keratinized cells leaving a fresh skin with a smoother, healthier appearance and best suited for those seeking fine line reduction and renewed clarity. These peels are great for a gentle exfoliation that will aid in fine lines, blemishes, sun damage an pigmentation. The results are minimal pores, improved acneic conditions and overall clarity for a more youthful appearance.
Glycolic assists the rate of dead cell shedding in addition to new cell production and new collagen formation. Glycolic is used for superficial peeling and is often the acid of choice and can be used every 10 to 14 days for up to 8 treatments. A light shedding may occur between days 5 and 7 depending on the strength used. To maintain results take home proiducts should be used. Recommended products are Glycolic cleanser, Green Tea toner, Glycolic daily 10% exfoliator, Replenish serum and Green tea SPF 30 plus anti ageing. Price per peel £60
LACTIC PEELS
A non irritating and rapid exfoliator and a naturally occuring human metabolite. Lactic acid is recommended with those with sensitive or dry skin.
The peels are available in strengths 30 50 and 70%. Lacdtic acid peels carry many of the same properties ad the Glycolic peels yet is less harsh and more hydrating than Glycolic. LActic acid has been known to be beneficial for for dry skin, treating age spots and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. For optimal results Lactic Acid is the peel of choice for treating hyperpigmented skin. Because of lactics gentleness it can be used as often as 7 to 10 days, for severe hyperpigmentation a total of 8 treatments is recommended. To maintain results home care products should be used.
